Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, group size, preferred dates and a message, plus which activity you are interested in. We do not ask for payment details or anything else.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and help you plan a trip. By sending the form you agree to us using your details for that. We use them for nothing else, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list because they asked a question.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is emailed to our team. We use Amazon Web Services to host this website, send that email and keep the backup copy described below. We do not sell, rent or give your details to anyone else. Enquiries about fishing and hunting are made on arlukoutfitters.com instead.

How long we keep it

A backup copy of your enquiry is kept on our hosting and is deleted automatically after 90 days. The email itself stays in our mailbox: we do not delete these emails automatically. If you would like yours deleted, ask us and we will. If you book a trip, we also keep your booking records for as long as the law and our business require.

Where it is kept

On Amazon Web Services computers in Ohio, in the United States. That means your information is handled outside Canada, and courts and authorities in the United States may be able to get access to it under their laws.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. It does not load fonts, scripts or images from other companies' websites. Like any website, our hosting keeps standard technical logs (such as your internet address and which pages were asked for).

To stop spam and abuse, the form briefly (for up to two hours) records a scrambled version of your internet address so it can limit how often one visitor can send. It is not your actual address and it is not linked to your name or message.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, at any time, by emailing info@arlukoutfitters.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its date.
